Girls at a local school showed an increased interest in playing football following a project that involved them in the design of their new school kit.
30 girls were involved in the innovative project which was led by MisKits, an innovative new girls football teamwear business.
67% of the girls stated that they were more interested in playing football and the number of girls who attended training increased by 45%.
Research carried in 2018 showed that 48% of girls admitted to making up excuses to miss PE lessons and over a quarter of girls said that they felt ugly in their PE kit.
The design project is available to all schools and colleges who purchase a kit from MisKits.
